I’m always looking for things that can be sculptured in wire, where wire is the only logical material and no other medium could do it justice. The list includes human hair, dandelion clocks and cobwebs. Having come up with the idea of a wire cobweb, it took me about five years to develop a way of welding them before I could make the first one.
