Wind Dancer II

The original Wind Dancer was made in 2017 and has always been on of my favourites. I originally drew her been covered in leaves blowing past her, but it wasn’t feasible at the time to make the leaves, so she had long copper hair instead. Its the pose / body shape that I like, its pure feminine lines and movement.

Wind Dancers are elemental fairies, they don’t need winds as they live in/on the wind. A wind dancer has a symbiotic relationship with air, she needs the wind and the wind needs a wind dancer.  If you listen closely to the wind you can hear them singing.
